This morning we continue through Colossians 3:6-9  in our study of Living in Christ. In this passage, the apostle gives us some reasons why we should not live like those under the influence of the earthly nature and then lists some of those mannerisms. Since God is going to judge those who are without Christ as deserving His wrath, we should put into practice those attitudes and action that typlify our being new creations in Christ Jesus. Why should we live like those who are under God's wrath? It is true that we used to walk in those ways, but we are not to do so anymore. We need to rid ourselves of those mannerisms that are disobedient to God and take on the attitudes and actions that honor God. Paul's list of sins is one of about 20 in the New Testament. Apparently, God cares about how we live. The question we must ask ourselves is whether we care about what God thinks and follow the truth of His word in our life.
