It doesn't seem like 37 years have past since the Roe vs Wade US Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion. It is hard to get a handle on over 50 million unborn children being aborted, not to mention the untold numbers of those unborn children dying from embryonic stem cell research. There is something irrational about voluntarily destroying the life of a child for convenience or scientific research.
Well, I will being sharing God's Word about the value of the life He has given us for His purpose. The Bible tells us of our origin, identity and purpose found in God. The problem is the struggle between God and our culture that has either rejected or decided to ignore what God has said about mankind being made in His image. God wants us to choose life. God has known us since before He created the world and has a purpose or plan for our life. To destroy life is to destroy His image and purpose for which He made us.
John 10:10  tells us that Jesus Christ came to give us life. The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy. I believe God is pro-life. He wants us to live to glorify Him on earth and into eternity by having the opportunity to be born,hear the gospel of salvation and be saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Thank God we can not be aborted from our spiritual life in Christ.
After our worship in song and scripture, we will observe the Lord's supper. It is open to anyone who has received the Lord Jesus Christ as savior and chooses to identify with His death, burial, resurrection and coming again.
